I have always been interested in this subject. But my interest peaked after I started watching "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer". -- It may seem a funny place to start from but there you have it!
At first I considered Wicca but I thought that I would be constricted by the beliefs associated with this religion so I decided to go with witchcraft and its more traditional practices. Well guess what? I found that I did have a connection with the Wicca beliefs so now I'm leaning more towards that.
My Path
As you can see I'm at my beginnings here.
"You sound like where I am right now." - This is some advice that I gave.
I first thought that the term "witch" would apply to what I wanted to be classified as but the whole Wicca structure seemed compatible with what I believed in but my Christian belief comes into play as well - and it bears the question - Can you be Wicca and Christian at the same time?
I have decided to follow the path of Hedgewitch because I like the definition of it which means a witch that practices her magic "the old fashioned way". This means using tools that are more natural and from the earth but I don't limit myself to that as I like to use all kinds of tools in my magic which can mean both modern and traditional tools.
Right now I'm trying to get my gardening together as I have ample space for a garden in my back yard. I'm also trying to grow herbs inside my home as well. You can read about my garden doings by going to my blog, Angel's Journey.
